This is the new 2 channel Remote controlled osprey. I picked this one up on ebay from myworld.ebay.com It is IR controlled, it has counter rotating propellers to cancel out torque, it uses a small fan on the back to control spin left and right, it constantly flies forward pretty fast like a plane, but you can slow it down by adding a little tail weight. It is pretty heavy for its size but it has a whole lot of power, the engines make a real nice high power sound, if you remove the canopy it could carry a whole lot of extra weight. This is a really good candidate to be upgraded to a 4 channel osprey, if you added 2 small flaps under the wings, and removed or faced the tail fan down, you could possibly achieve spin by moving one flap forward and one flap back. Forward reverse motion could be achieved by moving both flaps forward or back, and roll left and right could be achieved by differential thrust to the 2 engines. The aircraft already has the ability to differ the thrust to the 2 engines with a trim knob, and it can carry a whole lot of weight, this platform would make a nice terminator hunter killer, or even the avatar scorpion gunship. The canopy design is that of a BA 609- the civilian version of the V-22 osprey, the BA 609 is expected to cost around 10 to 15 million dollars and seat 9 passengers in style.
